Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 June 2026

These Terms govern your use of Margeny, a profit and margin analytics service for Shopify merchants, operated by Diego Bermejo (sole trader / autónomo) (“Margeny”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Margeny connects to your Shopify store and, optionally, your advertising accounts to calculate revenue, costs, margins and related analytics. The accuracy of outputs depends on the data and costs you provide; Margeny is an analytics tool and not accounting, tax or financial advice.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must have the right to connect any store or ad account you connect and to authorise our processing of the data it contains.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring (monthly) basis through Shopify's app billing, on your Shopify invoice. Prices are shown on the Shopify-hosted plan page before you subscribe.
  • Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time by changing your plan or uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access data that is not yours, interfere with its operation, or use it to violate any law or any third party’s rights.

5. Data protection

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process your end customers’ personal data on your behalf, our Data Processing Addendum applies and forms part of these Terms.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features, and may update these Terms; material changes will be notified to account holders.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and the courts of Madrid, Spain have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
